Backpackers Newcastle - Affordable Hostel Accommodation

Very welcoming from the moment you step in! Very quiet during the day and roughly the same at night. The outside area closes at 9pm so the hostel is quiet from then as everyone who wants to drink more, tends to go out to the nearest pub. Rooms are vacuumed daily, and bathrooms are super clean! Best shower I’ve had in a hostel ever!!! I was really lucky and had lovely room mates while stayed here. I will definitely stay here again

Very nice hostel. Clean and friendly well maintained, very friendly staff and good facilities. Relaxed with comfy beds and quiet rooms, but nice common areas to hang out in until you get tired. Really feels like a home!

I can’t praise this hostel and staff enough, my girlfriend and I booked + checked in quite late to this hostel after a long drive , we were in a 6 bed dorm which was absolutely spotless, very very clean! And the window opens wide and the room has a good fan! It also has the best showers I have ever seen in a hostel... huge power showers and the entire bathroom was very clean. There is a cool patio area and hut for people to chill with drinks and watch the big tv which created a good atmosphere, this is where breakfast is served free with your stay and there is a large number of cereals and breads etc. It has all the cooking facilities! short walk to the bars and restaurants. And lots of parking outside the hostel which was a bonus.
